As the holidays descend upon us, we’ve realized that we haven’t done any of our holiday shopping, nor have we made any eggnog or cookies. This must change, so we will be taking a break until January!
As for the aforementioned holiday shopping, here are a few rock and roll ideas if you are as behind as we are:
New instruments!
I’ve said for the last five years that this is the year I will learn the guitar. Know someone like that? Call their bluff and get them a sweet piece o’ gear! Guitar? Sure! Drums? Only if the receiver doesn’t live in an apartment!
Music Lessons
For the up-and- coming rock and roller you know who might also be in elementary, middle, or high school: rock lessons with Paul Green’s School of Rock! Who knows, maybe you’ve got a Hendrix or a Joplin on your hands!
5 Dollar CDs!
For the local music lover, CD Baby has quite a sale, and nothing stuffs a stocking quite like some sick tunes.
Indie Music Getaway!
Have a friend or loved one that you like a little more than the rest? Take them to SXSW this year! It’s guaranteed to be a jam-packed line-up and Austin isn’t too bad either. Wait, take us!!!
